Would it be ok to use a 4ohm extension speaker with a Roland Cube 80X?..

The cube 80 xl says on the back of the amp 8ohm max, the internal speaker is wired in series with the extenion speaker so that should put you at 12 ohm total load and it wants 16 ohm max, i think the 80x is prob the same but check first

Thanks Roger for your input,i have been in touch with Roland tech dept.to make sure and a 4 or 8 ohm speaker would be fine.
