Floyd sent out this email about the May 10 gig at Hudson Street Tasting Room in Healdsburg:

Hello to All.....Of who have asked me to let you know when or where I might be playing some music. I am very proud to be performing with two of Sonoma County's best country musicians. Hugh Harris, well known and experienced lead guitar, and Bob Lee, one of America's best Pedal Steel technicians, will join with me, Floyd, to produce a variety of easy listening classic country and swing music for your enjoyment from 11 AM to 3:30 PM for three sets. I'll throw in some guitar, mandolin and banjo and sing a bunch of stuff.

For all of you Railroad buffs, there will also be an outstanding display of Model Trains set up for your enjoyment. As you may know, Hudson St tasting room is very near our old train track and RR station and pretty close to the old suspention bridge. Lots of stuff to see and of course, the tasting room will have a sampling from many vendors, satisfying that desire for some of great Sonoma County Finest Boutique wines. Hope you can all come!

I'll be playing pedal steel and singing real country music with "Hank Floyd and Wine Country Swing" tomorrow (Sat. May 10) at Hudson St Wineries in Healdsburg. They don't mention us on the web site, but we'll be there:

Join us to celebrate National Train Day May 10th and Wine Tourism Day featuring the wines of Bluenose, Kelley & Young, and Shippey Vineyards. Our tasting room is situated “on the left bank of the river and wrong side of the tracks” adjacent to the old train depot. Enjoy our outstanding wines paired with a selection of delectable cheeses and sausages as you view model train displays presented by local Sonoma County model train enthusiasts, one of which is a historical re-creation of the original depot, Roma Winery, and surrounding river area. The celebration takes place from 11:00am to 4:00pm. The tasting fee is $10.00 which includes a commemorative wine glass and is free to underage visitors. On Saturday, May 24, Hugh and I will be playing a couple of concert sets at Gaia’s Garden on Mendocino Ave, in Santa Rosa. There’s a $5 minimum (no cover). Music starts at 8 PM, and dinner is served until 9.
