Data Recovery Program?

I have a WD My Pasport that has lost its format and shows up as full although it is actually half full.

I would like to try and recover the data and move it to a different drive.

Any suggestions? Free is good since I will only use the program once.

It is also good if it is easy to use since I am only semi tech savy
