Ive been working with Bob Brozman's DVD and am looking for some more focused directed learning of 30s Cheap Suit Serenaders/Sweet Hollywaiians kind of stuff. There is next to nothing that I can find unlearning this kind of repertoire, are there any instructors doing Skype/webcam lessons teaching this kind of music?
Thanks,\ad
PS. Sorry if this is in the wrong spot…
30s swingy/jazzy lessons?

Adam, a guy named John Ely, who used to play steel for Asleep at the Wheel, does Skype lessons and teaches a wide variety of styles. I've taken lessons from him, he's an excellent instructor who really understands and teaches theory/technique/repertoire.
(To avoid confusion, I point out that there are two of us named John Ely here on the forum. Seriously. What are the chances...?)

John Ely (but I'm not THE John Ely who played with Asleep at the Wheel).
