Hey we're back out at Disney's California Adventure Thurs. 5/8/14, stop by and say "Howdy" and see the Swing Riders at the Paradise Garden Bandstand. We'll be there from 12pm to about 6:30pm.

Hey Gary, that makes me long for my good ol' SoCal days when you can do an outside gig in February... It's only in the low thirties here in Virginia, makes me homesick for my old digs in Garden Grove..... Knock them tourists dead, dude... JH in va.

I read an interview with Ralph Mooney. One of his early jobs in CA as a steel player was at Disneyland in the Hawaiian Gardens. He was specifically instructed NOT to play Steel Guitar Rag. Well guess was happened? His buddies showed up and requested Steel Guitar Rag and Walt Disney himself watched the whole thing....and fired him on the spot immediately after they finished the tune! LOL!
