Currently I have a compressor pre eq, and reverb post eq, and the sound is good, but I have a slight hum. Is this chain ok or should I have it all pre, or all post. This is on a NV112.
Thanks, Gary

Your hum probably comes from a ground loop... you have to break the loop to fix the hum, pre- or post-EQ won't help I don't believe.
Your stuff gets grounded several different ways... the third wire on the 120VAC, the shields on the connecting cables, the ears on rack equipment. There are different solutions available for each problem... EbTech Hum Eliminator, EHX HumDebugger, HumFrees rack ear tabs, etc... good luck, many folks just give up and go to batteries because of this kind of thing.

Too much junk to list... always getting more.
