What operating system? What browser? have you tried using a different web browser? Does this happen on any other websites?

Secondary questions:
Do you have current anti-malware protection? Have you scanned for malware?

Fully up to date with updates for your OS and any software that plugs into your default web browser?

Whatever browser you're using, download a different brand and try it with that one. Most scripting error messages seem to occur in Internet Exploder.

Okay. Let's defuse it. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Programs tab > "Enable or disable browser add-ons installed in your system" > Manage Add-Ons (button). A window opens with Currently Loaded Add-ons. Click on any of them in the list and it appears in the field below, where a Disable button activates on the bottom. Selectively disable your add-ons, restart the browser and visit Yahoo again. Do this until you disable one that stops the error message.

If none of your add-ons are causing this problem, perhaps your security or privacy settings are too high. Some websites require cookies enabled to use certain parts of that site. If you disallow all cookies, you get locked out.

IE also has a setting to display a warning about on-page errors, which can be disabled. Many times these errors are due to IE's different interpretation of the ubiquitous JavaScript coding, which MS makes in its own flavor: JScript.

Have you tried Firefox or Google Chrome yet? Both are modern browsers that recognize current standards and render most standards compliant content as it was designed (leaves out Microsoft-only scripting).

You can disable the popup box about "errors" on a page, via Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing ... Uncheck: "Display a notification about every script error" ... Apply > OK.
