What's It Worth? Rickenbacker NS Lap Steel

Post by Matt Berg »

The late 40's grayburst model. Cosmetic condition is rough, lots of scratches, and even rust, especially where the strings fit into the slots behind the bridge. Appears to be original, and it's missing a tuner button. Assuming the pickup is strong and it can be made playable with new strings and tuners, what's it worth?

Between $200 and $400 based on your description. Photos would help narrow down (or expand) a possible value.

Wow - I actually had a deal with the owner to buy that set. He was the original owner, had it for over 60 years. Probably has not been used in 40 or so years. I decided that there was too downside risk with the pair. I wonder who has them.
Supro double neck, Sierra D10, Evans SE200, 40 or so guitars and basses.
