Buck Owens: My Bad

Post by Dayna Wills »

I mistakenly stated that Buck Owens played steel early on, oops! Actually, before he had his own hits, he played as a staff musician on other people's hits, such as Bud Hobbs and I think, some early Tommy Collins.

Buck was a steel player with Mac's Skillet Lickers before his studio musician career.

His Bio which can be googled states he taught himself to play both acoustic and Steel guitar. And played in a band with Max in the late 1940s.
