WOW !!! This, my friends, is one great CD. I have mine and have played, as they say, the grooves off of it. Bob is a one great steel player and his artistry and approach to each selection on the CD is superb. If you love steel guitar (I know you do) and latin music this is a must for you collection.

Another outstanding jazz steel CD from Bob. This disc features a nice selection of tunes in a latin jazz style, punctuated by percussion grooves. There are also some great original compositions by Bob's brother Michel.
Combining great musicianship with Bob's always top-notch production quality, this CD is a keeper. Get one!

Thank you gentlemen!
I appreciate the kind words very much!
This Latin Jazz CD took me 4 years to complete. It took me a while to incorporate the clave rhythms in my solos.
I spent many hours listening to Tito Puente, Eddie Palmeiri, Jerry Gonzalez and the Fort Appache Band, Michael Brecker, Mike Stern and Jaco Pastorius.
The conga player who played on this CD is from Havana, Cuba and the timbales player is from Mexico City. They are both great teachers! For these guys, music is about communication and having a conversation using your instrument. I never got the feeling that it was a competition.
Needless to say, this CD was a great learning experience!
Regards! Bob

It's very encouraging that musicians are beginning to accept the Pedal Steel in new musical areas.
This foray into the Cool Latin Jazz world is a wonderful example of this progress.
Bob's playing fits so well, this is a very enjoyable album. The artwork is cool too!
Congrats on another great production, Bob!
