I'm on the bus right now with Mark Johnson Mikes Brother. He says he thinks it was a sho-bud amp.

Paul, for what's it's worth. Mike and I crossed paths in mid 77. He was playing thru a Sho~Bud Christmas tree that night. I know because I borrowed it for the first set.

As for what amp he used in the clip.I have no way of knowing. But will guess either a Christmas Tree or a Sho~Bud single channel.

If you go full screen, you can see that it is a Sho~Bud Christmas Tree amp. You can see the aluminum dust cover of the JBL off center to the right and if you look under the guitar just to the right of Mike's left knee, you can see the metal strip on the bottom of the square control panel in the upper left corner of a Christmas Tree amp.

One of my all time favorite songs.

What amazes me is, that Mike doesn't look much older today than he did back them  He and Joanie do not seem to age at all.
Carter D10 8p/7k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup, Regal RD40 Dobro (D tuning), Recording King Professional Dobro (G tuning), NV400, NV112, Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open G slide and regular G tuning guitar) .

Playing for 55 years and still counting.
