Jimmy Day - All Those Years

Post by Per Kammersgaard »

I just spent a few days in Brussels (oh that good Belgian beer), and I picked up a decent copy of Jimmy Day's "All Those Years" album for 2,50 Euro - somewhere around 3.00 $. A few scratces, but nothing, that Cool Edit won't take care of. Will someone please tell me, when this album was recorded?

Good question Per. My copy has no dates on the liner or the disc. Just Mid-Land Records [Scotty's label] MD-JD-10010.

I got mine from Tom Bradshaw late 70's. My guess would be it was recorded sometime in the early to middle 70's.

The cover art is a natural Pro-II Custom with rope inlay.

I expect Scotty would know...or Buddy Emmons as he wrote the liner notes.

Great classic steel LP. One of my most played steel guitar records.
