Database of Composers ?

Post by Alan Brookes »

Is there an internet site somewhere that will tell me who wrote which songs ?
I would like to give the composers proper credits.

If you look at the various Lyric websites they almost always show the composer as being the person whose record they copied the words from. For instance, "Get Your Kicks on Route Sixty-Six" was written by Bobby Troup, but all the Lyric websites list it as being written by Nat King Cole or Chuck Berry, which is ludicrous.
