Single release

Post by Anne Marie O Keeffe »

Hi evertybody, I'm delighted to say that I've finally gone and released a single to country radio stations here in Ireland, England and Scotland and so far it's being very well received and is getting a lot of airplay.
Please have a look and listen and let me know what you think. As you will see I'm using a stage name but for those of you who have known me for many years yes it's still me. A.M.

Anne - Always loved your posts - especially with the wild man "Tony" - Got to meet Tony and his wife once and it was a memorable experience (along with a couple of Budwiesers") -
Really enjoyed your singing and maybe someday we'll meet too - Who Knows!!!

Right in the sweetspot for this audience. You even chose a tune written by a steel guitar player -- Moon.

Pardon my ignorance, but who's playing steel? Great job, with a noticeably light and deft touch on those strings.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments.
I love classic country music and I hope I've lived up to it here. Crazy Arms is a great song and I love to sing it. Ralph Mooney was John's favourite steel player and it seemed a good choice of song as it lends itself so beautifully to the steel.
It's so good to have this opportunity to do what I love and even moreso when John and I can work together in the band. Good steel players are hard to come by and I'm lucky enough to have one of my own :D
