Here's a tune in the Bohlen-Pierce tuning system. It's a strange sound. A pedal steel can do anything.

The Bohlen Pierce scale takes an interval of an octave and a fifth (which they call a tritave) and divides it into 13 notes. Each step is 146 cents if you use equal temperament, but it's based on JI ratios of odd numbers which is what I tuned to. There's no octave in the scale, which is part of the strangeness of it.

I made an alternate fretboard for my Sierra, and configured it to the key of J which put the key of C at the 4th fret. If I haven't lost you yet, check out the copedent at http://b0b.com/tunings/BP-pedal-steel.html#table6.

Very interestering. And what can a YAMAHA TX81 sound module do with this? I know a little of the old tunings. But on a PSG, FANTASTIC!!
