Charles - I remember Arthur Prysock everyday. He's on my iTunes at work and I even have an old Billboard ad of his on the wall over my desk. I regret never seeing his show - all accounts say he was a great performer. Thanks for bringing up his name this Sunday morning. He's my favorite singer - even over Ray Price and Billy Eckstine! Here's Arthur Prysock singing "Autumn in New York":

Arthur is also one of my absolute favorite singers. What a voice! My voice is baritone, and he is my model for how a baritone should sing. Yeah, it seems like most people have forgotten about Arthur.

I have an old cassette tape around here somewhere of Arthur singing Merle Haggard's "Today I Started Loving You Again" in that huge baritone of his. He just rocks that song, unbelievable. I'm trying to find a better copy of that album, my cassette is on its last legs.

Smiley, that's the one I was talking about in my post above. That album is great, wish mine was vinyl instead of cassette.
