Trying to book a show-San Diego area, 11/3/12

Post by John Rosett »

My band has been approached about playing a wedding in La Jolla, CA on Friday, Nov. 2nd. Since we're going to be in the area, we're trying to book a show on Saturday, Nov. 3rd. We mostly play western swing, vintage country, etc. Here's a link: www.cashforjunkersmusic.com . Since we're a bunch of hicks from Montana, we really know nothing about Southern California, or the music scene there. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would ask Jim Palenscar at Steel Guitars of North County.

IMHO, So.California, over the years has become a vast wasteland for Classic Country and Weswtern Swing. The Youth mostly doesn't relate to it anymore. Wish I could be more encouraging
