Tim McGraw's new song

Post by Frank Freniere »

"Truck Yeah." Do you think he was going for a word other than "truck?" :whoa:

Country? You be the judge.
Whatever it is, I'd give it three :P :P :P
Like Garth and Shania, I see Tim has transcended Nashville and is headed to Vegas, where eventually all country music goes to die ….

By today's definition of country, yeah. By my definition, NO TRUCKIN'WAY. The new promo saying for a lot of the bands playing the club circuits (at least the one's in the Sacramento area where you are Barry) is the term "Rockin' Country". That pretty much says it all.

By the way guys, thanks for bringing this to my attention. I really wanted my breakfast to back up on me. Image

I don't think Garth & Shania released a distasteful song like "Truck Yeah"! :x

Possibly not, but Garth has already done Vegas, and Shania will be there later this year. That was the point.

If it's played on a "country" station, it must be country, and therefore embraced. To do otherwise makes us whiners, or out of touch with the country genre.

I may as well not even have FM in my vehicle. Pass me a CD with steel and fiddles in it...
