Billy Cardine's Six-String Swing

Post by Chris Bauer »

All I can say is shame on any of us who ever again complain that we simply don't have enough strings to play what we want...

Seriously, if you're a fan of Django et.al, check out Billy Cardine's new reso album, "Six String Swing". Samples here: http://www.nimbitmusic.com/billycardine as well as on itunes where it's also available for purchase.

Pretty darned cool, I thought.

This is great music. I didn't know it could be played on a dobro/resonator.

I agree, Chris. Bought this on Itunes and it is amazing. Top-notch musicianship with great swing and drive. Nice to see he did a version of "Hungaria," one of my favorite Django tunes.
