Hey Chris I noticed by googling my old street X Street..That there are no homes on it anymore ,it's all Business looking buildings...Heard the Fair grounds are in EL Camino now..Jeesh I would get lost now..

right, joe. they moved the old fairgrounds (which i loved) many , many years ago out to the arden and howe area (cal expo). i had many good times at the old brick buildings grounds. now the big UCD med center has expanded through much of that area. south west of that area is still the much troubled oak park area with low rent loser people problems, unfortunately.

At one time I use to go to 10 cent movies in OAK Park..And I use to as a kid park cars on our lawn for a couple of bucks as we were the last exit off of Stocton BLvd for the Fair...The old County Hospital field was where we played Ball...Sure miss the place..Use to steal Tomatos off the trucks as they were lined up to go into Libbys...LOL..
