Sara Evans(Steel player)

Post by Nicholas Ackron »

I was wondering if country star Sara Evans had a steel player and if so does anyone know him??? She will be giving a concert here at Fort Eustsis, VA next week July 13th. If can answer these questions please let me know, because I would love to meet them since I'll be stuck working as dispatcher during the concert. Thanks again!!!

I doubt it. In the recent past she has not had one. When I saw her a couple of years ago, no steel player. Just look through the YouTube live videos, and you will rarely see a steel guitar on stage. Too bad too, as her recordings are full of steel guitar.
Carter D10 8p/7k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup, Regal RD40 Dobro (D tuning), Recording King Professional Dobro (G tuning), NV400, NV112, Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open G slide and regular G tuning guitar) .

Playing for 55 years and still counting.

Gary Morse played on "Suds In The Bucket" in the studio and live on the 2004 CMA Awards. In 2005, she sang her second single off "Real Fine Place To Start" record called "Cheatin' and Randle Currie was onstage with her, and in 2006, Gary came back to play steel on "Real Fine Place To Start" at the CMAs.

Sara opened for RF on our "Flatts Fest" & "Thaw Out" tour dates in 2011 and early 2012. Great band, but no steel player.
