"Me, My Drugs, and I"
Not the style that most here prefer, but the message is universal.

A well produced video with a message that might save some lives.

this is just the kinda of thread that gets closed right quick
watch : not steel related - no religion - no politics - just money !
don't do drugs ?
come on ! everybody's strung out on one or another
to say the contrary would be a heck of a fib
everyone has the poison they deserve
" Don't do drugs " is mostly aimed at illegal ones is'nt it ?
whereas the legal ones are condoned (tobacco & alcohol)
are all the medication on prescriptions taken into account ?
especially the ones that thousands take while driving ?
are they not drugs from the "drug store "
legal ones at that who cause just how many deaths a year ?
last but not least, the most potent widespread drug that practically no one can do without is :
White Sugar
you drink Coke ? Hostess twinkies ? Chocolate ?
Sugar Blues !
could we stop the hypocrisy concerning illegal drugs that are bringin' in a fortune & costing us one
& the legal ones that doing the same darn thing
which death toll is greater ?
legal drugs or illegal ones ?

I get burned out on recovery songs sometimes. If they stay subjective and are well written they can be the best songs ever. Like "Black Rose" by Shaver and a zillion others. I don't like tunes that tell me what to do so much though.
The song on Youtube is pretty crappy as message songs go. First off it romanticises suicide and drugs by showing peoples idols and role models and relating there legends to drug use. Think about how romantic all that pain and drama was back when you were a teenager. No one knows how to suffer with more glory than an insecure 14 year old. The perfect idol is one who destroys himself.
The second part of the tune that is annoying is that the person doing the singing comes from the perspective of a guy who is above all this foolishness and is here to warn us sheep about the wolves. It's a good message in a way but what sheep hasn't heard about wolves already ?
If I need to listen to somebody tell me drugs are bad I prefer Mr Mackey.
