I love the faux steel bend sounds he gets playing with his tuning mid song.

Looks like he's got a couple of Scruggs/Keith tuners on his guitar.

Well, he's not using a capo, but those Scruggs pegs might not pass the Hankey Test ...

Doyle Dykes is another acoustic guitarist who can do some neat pedal steel sounding stuff.
Sho-Bud Pro III + Marshall JMP 2204 half stack = good grind!

It looks like he is using the Keith/Scruggs pegs on all the strings. He probably got that from the great British player Adrian Legg who's been using them for a long time. Adrian's a master at their use and has a couple of Ovations equipped with them along with very light strings and plays a bunch of cool stuff. Check him out on YouTube. I don't think he does any of the great precussive stuff like this guy does though........JH in Va.
Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!!

I count just 2 Scruggs pegs-on his 1st and 2nd strings.Even if it's all a little neo-hippie,he can sure play.Gets a lot out of that box.
