Doc Watson Flat Pickin' Tribute

Post by Pete Burak »

Thanks for the inspiration, Doc!
(I used to be able to play it faster).
Two tracks (rhythm/lead) on a Taylor 710. Stuff I like to play in the Doc style.

That's very pretty Pete!
Did you use a capo or did you tune the guitar one step higher?

Thanks, Joachim.
I didn't use a Capo.
I typically tune a half step down to accomodate my vocal range.
I didn't think about that when recording this.
If it's a half step up, then I didn't realize it when I was tuning up.
I have a bad habit of just watching the needle (and not the actual "note" and "sharp/flat" leds).

That's very nice - a fitting tribute to a legendary flatpicker. :D
