band in box pause or rest?

Post by chuck abend »

I am programming Buddy Emmons version of the Song
YOU AND ME.I'm trying to figure out to program BAR
16 which has F#m and Em in the 4 beat bar.
Is there a way to pause each note to 4 beats ea .
Is this called a rest? Any guru's out there know to
program a 4 beat rest on each note in a
4 beat BAR
Thanks Chuck Abend 816 805 3612

Chuck,
A "rest" would mean to "not play", if your trying to have each chord "hold or sustain" for 2 beats each in a 4 beat bar, right click on that bar and it will bring up a menu, click on chord setting.
You can specify a different chord on each beat in a 4 beat bar/measure, you can have instruments "rest" or sustain or quickly hit and cut off. Play with those controls and you may find what your asking for.
