Believe half of what you see and none of what you read. Is that paper even credible??? It pisses me off to see the media prying into personal lives of well respected hard working individuals. I cant imagine how upset Georgette and Jamie are over this! It would be nice for people to stop spreading trash for the tabloids and give people their privacy!

That's true--it's right there on his home page:Steve Hinson wrote:Go to georgejones.com and watch the"greeting from George Jones"video...all the article is doing is quoting George...it's not an interview...it's a home-made video...

Georgette responded to this. None of it is true. George was reading a script. He was told a bunch of lies by people who are close to him. We asked for proof. The media and fans are backing Georgette. And his PR Guy stated George will not comment in this no more. We would never put him down especially on Facebook. Its a shame he beleives other people as he don't usek Facebook.

I don't know what you are upset with the media for. The report quoted George's own website and an interview given to AP. You can't blame the media for reporting on celebrity gossip especially when the sources are the participants themselves. Of course you could say, we shouldn't have celebrity gossip, but that is like saying the sun shouldn't rise tomorrow. There has been celebrity gossip since the beginning of time, mostly generated by the celebrities themselves for publicity purposes.
If the Jones family wants to keep it in the family, perhaps they should shut their yaps.

I never heard such garbage in all my life!!! The media are a bunch of blood sucking leeches. The sun has been rising long before the national enquirer and ET have been around and we did just fine! And futhermore, celebreities are harrased by reporters and papparazti which is usually putting someones life at risk because they don't know when to back off. Confusing and putting words in an old mans mouth and than telling the world all of this false subjective propanganda is definately NOT good news reporting.

The most open "yap" is the one that belongs to the patriarch of the family, who would be very well advised to do what he does best and stick to the singing.Certainly his management team went to some trouble to make sure that his road band wouldn't be talking out of school.Would that they'd been as successful with the frontman.Bill McCloskey wrote:I don't know what you are upset with the media for. Georgette is talking to media, too! Why are some so quick to be disrespectful towards George Jones?

Don't be so upset at the "evil media". They're just reporting what is going on. I don't think anyone can credibly say they(media) are making this up.
Georgette had a facebook page. She was posting about the wedding. A fan asked if George was walking her down the aisle. Georgette says no, he's booked a gig somewhere. Then several people started posting unkind things about George. They say they then deleted the page. George and Nancy are saying that Georgette AND Jamie were posting negative things about George on facebook. Georgette and Jamie say it was fans comments, not their own. George and Nancy say they can/will subpeona the FB posts to prove that Georgette and Jamie were badmouthing them publicly.
So, who do we believe? Who cares?
I'll always be a fan of George Jones. Hell, we all got family problems, with ex-wives, and kids don't we?
What's this "They are all about money" quote from George's video? There are years of things going on within this family that we have no way knowing about. Which is why I say Damn Facebook!

Georgette had to respond to the media when that BS video went out. It is a shame, as we did not say anything bad, yes the fans had comments on there.
So we removed the whole page and started fresh.
And left the fanpage for the fans, had to many people we did not know on the personal pages.
Hey Chris I think your right
Joys of show business !!
All Georgette wants to do is talk and see her dad, but the close people to him wont let her, shes tried to no avail, she will always love and respect him

The media are a bunch of blood sucking leeches.
Yes they are, and they were back in George Washington's time, and way before that. Ever heard of the term yellow journalism? It was around for a lot longer than when the term was coined in the early 1900's.
The sun has been rising long before the national enquirer and ET have been around and we did just fine!
Well, We weren't around there either. In fact we have been around a relatively minuscule amount of time. I doubt the dinosaurs had celebrity gossip, but I garantee you it has been around since the first monkey climbed out of his tree and put a hot tub in his spanking new cave.
"world all of this false subjective propanganda is definately NOT good news reporting."
Tell that to Fox news.
