No Sound!!!!!!!!! HAALLLLPPP!!!!

Post by Dan Moslander »

I had windows vista on my old computer, got a virus and it crashed...losing everything....I now have windows 7. Installed BIAB 10.5 Mega Pak, followed Rick's instructions on his CD, but I don't have any sound. He stated on the CD that if you don't have any sound, go back and go through the steps again..and again...and again.....no sound?????
Why????

BIAB requires a MIDI synth setup. That is the first place to start, check the setup and make sure you have a MIDI synth selected.

In BIAB, click Opt (Options) and then MIDI Driver Setup. You will probably have the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth probably set up as the default for the MIDI output driver. If it's not set, set this as the MIDI Output synth.

Assuming all other PC audio works OK, the MIDI synth should be all you need to setup.
