Hey everyone... Just wanted to announce that Jaydee's new instructional video "Further Inside" is now available. The video covers many aspects of JayDee... famous solos.. Practice phrases.. How he approaches the blues.. writing out charts in the studio.. how he plays it safe in the studeo.. melody playing.. Trademark licks... a tabbed instrumental... influences.. Lots of stories a truely amazing video..

This video is 2 hours long and comes with a 25 paged tab booklet. If you love JayDee like I do.. then you will need to own this one. Really a must have.

I thought I could play "Mansion On The Hill" until I heard this; major chicken skin. First he plays it on the upper strings, then lower (E9th). There is a lot of information here but just watching and listening to Jay Dee is worth it to me. To me, it just doesn't get any better.

I just placed my order and I'm pretty excited to get this latest copy of Jay Dee's instruction video. Thanks to Kevin, Jim Palenscar and of course Jay Dee for making this available to the fans.

I remember years ago when there was very little information for the psg and it was hard to get someone to show you something unless you could show them something. I think Jay Dee was and is one of the nicest guys ever, and he would share information. Just think of all the various artists that he has recorded with during his career, demonstrating the versatility of the pedal steel guitar.

First Off,
1. David why would you buy a course, you should be doing a course on your own.

2. Kevin Why would you hang around David, he is a bad influence, you might be riding a Harley if you are not careful. ha! ha@

3. Kevin, when are you doing your own video?
Your course is awesome.

Kevin

Is there any shred of truth that Jay Dee may be doing lessons at Jim Palenscar's sometime in the near future and if so I'd like to be on the list, Btw did you get my payment for his video yet?

Thanks,

For those of you who have been waiting patiently on the list to get them, we have a new supply of videos and DVD's with the tablature in and they are available from both JayDee's web site as well as my store- Steel Guitars of North County (760-754-2120). Also JayDee has graciously consented to give lessons at the store for those interested, I've just been so busy trying to get things ready for the opening April 16th that I've not put it together yet. If interested, please let me know- thanks-
