The Faron Young Story - a biography by Diane Diekman

Post by Billy Tonnesen »

Just finished listening To "The Faron Young Story" by Diane Diekman a Library of Congress listening book on Special Cassette Tape and Reader. What a story of Faron with his problems and the great Sidemen Musicians that lived it with him on the Road.
I recommend this Book to all the younger and newer Musicnas who might wonder what it was like back in the early days.

Faron was a character, for sure, and worth reading about.

Me too - curious to see if it can possibly be as wild as Cal's road-inspired "fiction".

If I'd included all the stories people told me about Faron, the book would have been considerably longer. And much of it would have sounded like fiction.

If you'd like autographed hard-cover copies, email me at diane@dianediekman.com for my address so you can send a check, and I'll get them in the mail.

I don't know. The publisher hasn't told me. I've been after them for three years to do an ebook. I posted "Live Fast, Love Hard" myself on Kindle, along with my two memoirs, and the publisher made me remove it for violating my contract, because I don't hold the e-rights.

All I need to do is click the "Live" button on Amazon.com and it would be available for download. It's tempting....
