I've been playing that clip from "She Wears Her Love" over and over. It's an inspiration to me even tho I'll never be able to play it. Now I'm looking forward to seeing the guy that did it.

Buck,
I'll have to agree with you on the temp in the Ed Sullivan Theater. I couldn't believe how cold it was in there! The last time I did it was with the Dixie Chicks and we played Sin Wagon at warp speed and I had a steel solo and a flat picking solo on the acoustic. Not real easy when your hands are numb. How are you coming along on your CD? I can't wait to hear it.

Take care,

Tim

Don't you play a JCH? A friend of mine owned one and said the tuning was rock solid even in temperature fluctuations. I'm sure you'll knock 'em dead.
[This message was edited by Chris Forbes on 02 December 2004 at 11:34 AM.]

Ditto, Buck - and I just love seeing your band dressed in suits and ties; what a change from the normal 'CMT garb' these days!

Still, I expect the long-sleeved jackets are a bonus in THAT studio.....

Buck, classy outfits and very tasteful playing. I just wish they had let you cut loose for a long ride. But with a stage that full of talent, I guess they couldn't let everybody do that. Congrats. Image

Hey Guys,
thanks for all the nice comments! The solo's (4),were cut out of the tune as well as a repeat chorus due to time constraints. It was a little dissapointing but to be expected on a show of that nature. Lyle is a great guy to work with and it's a real pleasure to work with that band! Oh....and the temperature was 58 degree's. Thanks again to everyone for tuning in!!
[This message was edited by Buck Reid on 03 December 2004 at 04:20 PM.]
