The luthier, Rick Toone, has actually done a lot of research and prototyping relating to neck shapes, hardware and ergonomics. So often a "luthier" finds it necessary to sell every instrument, they just can't afford to deviate from the standards. The "tele" seems almost jokey to me, but some of his other instruments look extremely efficient. It's easy to assume that the process of evolution will have naturally lead to the best guitar design, but I didn't need two carpal tunnel operations for no reason.

- I wish these had been around thirty years ago! He's worked in conjunction with Warmoth to make a few modified add-on necks using his patented neck profiles.

Hey David, that's a wild looking "Tele?" there, I don't know if I'd like those slanted frets though, I don't think it'd feel right........JH in Va.
Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!!
