Can a custom midi bass track be transposed ?
It would be great if there was a way to transpose a hand-written midi bass (or other) track !!...or IS there a way ? The normal transpose button does not touch the custom midi track

Hey Russ, walk me through the menu system to edit / transpose the melody track please ? I've copied the bass track over to the melody track but I can't find where I would transpose it ? Thanks !

On the very top line it has
file edit styles opt etc.
go to where it says melody and left click
a sub menu appears at the bottom it says edit melody
another submenu will allow you to transpose the melody track.
good luck.

I might be a beginner now, but someday I'm gonna steel the show.

Thanks Russ and Robert !
OK, here's the solution:
1. Move the bass track to the melody track - Edit->Copy/Move tracks
2. Once the bass track is on the melody track, you can can just change the key of the song using the key signature drop-down next to the Style... The 'new' bass (melody) track gets transposed, but the original midi bass track does NOT get changed.
After the change, I can then move the 'melody' back to the bass track.
Great stuff and thanks again guys !
