I just about bought one a couple of years ago, at a whopping reduction from MSRP. Played great, sounded good. Heavier than I might have expected. Decided it looked too odd hanging on an old fossil (me). The one I tried was even more "progressive" in design, with some plexiglass and a metal frame.

looks pretty neat to me, but i'd never heard of them.
...and ken, you're right...but stu can handle the uniqueness of many things...after all he is from palin country.
