60s tv and guitar headstocks
What are the guitars played on shows such as Porter Wagoner and others of the early sixties era.
Thanks in advance;

It is easy to play the steel guitar. Playing so that the audience finds it pleasing is the difficult act.

From some of the shows that I have seen, Porter played a Fender and Martin. The Wilburn Bros. both played Gibson J-200's. A lot of the stars played Martin's of one form or another. Bill Anderson played a Fender. The syle of these Fenders are being remade, with a standard Fender headstock, but I don't care for some of the colors.
Hope this helps. If I am wrong, please correct me. I won't be offended.
