Fender Classic 50's Strat/Jimmie Vaughan Strat

Post by Chad Karnitz »

Would like to hear comments from anyone who has owned a Classic 50s Strat and/or a Jimmie Vaughan Strat, both are made in Mexico.

How do they sound/compare to other Strats you've owned?

Sorry I have no information for you, Chad. I once saw them play and I never heard a dryer sounding guitar. I believe Jimmie had not even reverb on it, and he still sounded great.

I've had a Jimmie Vaughan strat for years and it's great for what it is. The pickups are pretty hot and the neck profile is huge.
