Amongst my "toys" I have a 1985 Evans Fet 500 Lv,Small cab model, it still sounds superb. I had it serviced about 4 years ago and the Tec told me they'd never seen such fine components. Yes they "ARE" great amps.

I recently picked up an Evans AH200 hybrid head from Craigslist, which I have been playing through an Evans 15" cabinet that I also use for my Fender Twin head. I love it!!! It has a great sound, nice string separation, and its so light and portable.

I <3 my twin, but the evans really gets it done.

I've had both the Webb and the Evans at the shop and, to be fair, it's like comparing apples with oranges or Gibson with Fender. While they have similar functions they are totally different animals and each one has its followers.

i with ya on evans. my wife got me a se200 for my 50th birthday. that was 4 years ago. i could not be happier with it. service from scott at evans has been top notch as well.
