A band I play with, Poor J. Brown, has received some great nominations from the Academy of Texas Music.
Male Vocalist of the Year nomination for David Fenley.
Producer of the Year nomination for Mack Damon.
Song of the Year nomination for The Whiskey written by Leon Waddy.

All of this from our debut album Hill Country Soul.
I played all the pedal steel, electric guitar, mandolin and harmonica on this album, and am very proud indeed. :D

This week on 92.1 KNBT Radio New Braunfels website we are featured on Billys Ice Rising Star Series.
Theres an interview with Leon Waddy and two songs Family Tree and The Whiskey played.
