I believe it is the best entry model steel on the market (IMHO). Doug is a pretty good guy too.....

I just love my Stage One. No issues whatsoever. I have a similar combination- Nashville 112, chorus/echo and delay. Fun to experiment with!

I played one Friday night. The steel player in the band found out I played steel and he let me play his of a few tunes, with the group. This was a really nice steel and sounded fine.

It is a nice instrument. Light to carry, stays in tune, assembles quickly. I like the feel and sound of the single finger pull-release mechanism too. When someone asks how much I'll take for it I just tell them to call Doug 'cause you can't have mine!

Stage One

Post by Robert Fleming »

I have had my "Newman Red" one since last December and I love it. But mine does not have the bump lever and I wonder what it is. Even though I don't know what it is I want one. LOL

Nice! I like the red/black combo. Mines just a Red One.
I'm curious: Where did you get those pedals? That's not what mine look like.
I got my StageOne a little over a year ago.
It's a keeper, still loving it.

Here's mine. I haven't seen it yet, the wife just picked it up from FedEx on her lunch break.

I hope to play it at the gig tonight.

Yes Roger, I am moving toward the goal.

And I've got another cool project in the works.... :)

I just want to say my Stage One was everything I had hoped for and a little more.

I played a 9pm - 2am gig last night and it stayed in tune all night long, played very smoothly, and had a great sound.

Looks like this little trooper is going to fit right in to the program! :D
