You gotta love the Tielmans!

They were completely unheard in the USA. How well known were they in Europe in the 50s? I cannot recall seeing their records offered for sale on collector lists 30 or 40 years ago, but maybe I just passed them by?

I think the Tielman Brothers lived and worked in Germany in the 60's. I know a female relative of them, who lives in my area. Jan Ackerman was also a band member at some time. Maybe some dutch forumites can say more?

Their version of Ramona was pretty popular in Finland, I have the 45' somewhere. I don't think they ever performed here but I might be wrong too...
