Bill Frisell loves our little town

Today is a great day for music fans in the small town of Johnson, VT. Bill is playing with his quartet (4 hours away & still unannounced) in the town's lecture hall.

He came last spring for a few days visiting his wife who was doing an artist residency in town and he loved it so much that he played a free solo concert for the townspeople, and now he's back and been here all month hanging out, taking it easy before he goes out on tour. He keeps saying he doesn't want to leave!

Lucky! He likes Victoria too, but maybe not that much...

He's a good example of keeping it simple, not overplaying and still sounding superb.
