Wynn Stewart singin' on my TV!!

So I had the TV on, and was in another room, when all of a sudden I heard Wynn Stewart and Ralph Mooney. I run in to see it's the background music for a VW Jetta ad.

My band played the song on Saturday night! The crowd actually recognized it from TV! Great way to get people to listen to real country music. They wanted to know who did the song so they could go out and get the CD!

I was at the computer the other night when I heard that and my ears tuned right in. Didn't know it was Wynn. I shoulda known. Great tune.

Yeah, I've seen the ad. Great music really is timeless. Does anybody remember the documentary on Playboy magazine where they used Wynn's "They Call Me a Playboy" throughout?
