Mitch has been tearing it up for a few! He used to take lessons from Ted Greene by phone in the 80's and it shows in a few places.

I got to see Mitch play the last time I was in Denver and.....WOW!!!! Very deep bag!!!

Denver really is a great jazz city!!! That same week I got to see my old teacher, the great Dale Bruning, B3 wiz Pat Bianchi, Nelson Rangel with monster Eric Gunnerson on piano. All were at different venues and even on weeknights!

John...I saw that my old friend Kim Stone was playing bass with Mitch on a few of the linked videos. Is Kim back living in Colorado?

Yes he is, I think he is living in the Springs...played a church gig with him last year and we have been talking by phone...sorry I missed hooking up with you last year...I'll have to tell you the story sometime why I missed you....
