Can't get Real instruments to Work

Post by Henry Matthews »

Need some help in getting real instruments to work in BnB 2010. They don't show up when I click on the little sax icon like they should. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks--Henry

Are you saying you get a blank sheet in the "Assign Real Tracks to Tracks" page after you have selected Realtracks Picker Dialog.

If thats the case then make sure that "Show RealTracks that are N/A" box is not checked. Bottom left on that page.

Other than that I have no other ideas, assuming of course that everything was installed correctly. :?:

Thanks Peter, it is not checked and tried it both ways. I think maybe that everything is loaded but just not showing up for some reason. Can pull up BnB file and they are there but just can't get them when I select real instruments or real drums. I have a few real drums showing but not all of them.---Henry

Very strange... I seem to recall a past problem with not showing tracks in the "picker" page that had an even (EV) feel but that was fixed in a software update. So maybe you could check your software update level and update to the latest patch (currently 304) if not already at that. You'll find your software status info in Help, About Band-in-a-Box. If that doesn't help then its time to hit the PGmusic Support/Forums :)

Sometimes restoring to factory settings will cure these type problems. To do this, go to "Options" > "return to factory settings"
