Considering that they broke on the U.S. in 1964 thats 7 years that they were together before hand. An eternity in band years. Considering that they broke up in 1969 thats 12 years together. Interesting that they spent so much time together and were glad to let it go when they did. Lennon and Harrison really despised the fame and adolation. It must have been smothering. It was everything in success that you could dream of. I also think that without George Martin they wouldn't have been what they were.

I was just thinking that they were having some good country (or was it bluegrass?) songs with "I'm Looking Through You" and "I've just Seen A Face".
