Who Played Lead on "Set My Chickens Free" On Merle

There is a smoking guitar break on this song does anyone know who did it?... there are no liner notes on my cd....I do remember that at that time they were some but not all studio musicians on that particular album....Peter

That song always cracks me up. I never really got a clear meaning from it, but I've always thought it sure was a great place to park some great guitar licks.

I vote with Peter. While Mr. Manuel is a wonderful guitar player, I've NEVER heard him play like that before. Not to say he's not as good, he's......... just........... well............ different!
