Thank you for the good advice... I installed the suggested reverb can: great sound!

Good job on repairing that. That little double diode is critical (and darn expensive) tot eh bias of the output transistors. They are close to 10.00 each from Peavey

Ken,

Are there any acceptable substitute diodes for this infamous 'double diode' in the Peavey Nashville 400 power amp? Yes, they are very expensive from Peavey.

Never found one yet! It is highway robbery on that little diode!!!
