Anyone have a copy of "Lets Leave It Alone" that they can email me? Who played steel in Jack Greene's Green Giants band?

Mike Johnson played in the Green Giants band, too, before moving on to Bill Anderson, Kevin.

Penn Pennington played steel occassionally for Jack Green and also was the lead guitar player in the band. Jody.

I just saw them on the old broadcast of "Pop Goes The Country". The Green Giants were a smokin country band. I'm trying to get a copy of "Lets Leave It Alone". Great country duet.

"If It Aint Love(Let's Leave It Alone)" is a Dallas Frazier song, that I believe Connie Smith had the first top ten with it in '72. Then Jack Green & Jeannie Seely put in on their "Two For The Show" album in '73, and I don't have that version. There is a more recent Jeannie Seely version on Amazon for 99 cents, but that is more like the version that The Whites had on the charts in the mid-'80s (with killer dobro by Jerry Douglas). Since The Whites version, it's been done by a few bluegrass groups now, with Michelle Nixon & Drive having it on the Bluegrass Charts about 4 or 5 years ago.

The Whites version is on iTunes, off their greatist hits CD.

Dan was that right after he left Mel Street or Mel left us?
