Evans amp handle

Post by Len Amaral »

I picked up an old Evans amp E200 with a 12 inch speaker. It's a bit worn and need recovering and a new handle. Anyone know where I can get the old type handle with leather strap? Amp is probably 10 years old. Nice vibe!

Evans amp handles can be obtained directly from the Evans company. Go to the top of the page to Links, the Evans company is listed under manufacturers. I don't know if the originals are still available, but you'll find one that will work. Hope this helps

I did contact Evans and Mr. Buffington replied that the handle for the E200 is no longer available and to contact the American Handle Co. I am waiting for a response but every handle on their website does not look like the handle on the E200 amp. This Evans amp sounds very nice but is a heavy little bugger and I would like to get the same type of replacement handle.

Check out Antique Electronics Supply. Also known as Tubes and Moreon the Web. They sell all kinds of guitar amp parts and have several different handles.

Thanks Marvin. I see a handle that website that looks close to the one I need.
