I was about to purchase a squire classic vibe 60's long distance when the guy mentioned it was made in India. I was pretty sure the good ones were made in China, should I stay away and pay $100 extra for a new one?
Thanks!

I'm not saying that at all, people in other lands need a job too, they deserve to have a life like everybody else, all I am saying is be informed and make your own choice accordingly.Nicholai Steindler wrote:Hmmm... so you are saying I should not buy a guitar at all since I can't afford American? Or does someone have an extra guitar they can donate to me to save one of these poor laborers?
They do still use a manufacturing plant in India and Indonesia for making the Vintage Modified series and some of the '50s & '60s Vibe Squiers. I don't know if it's the same Indian factory that made the Squier II back in the late '80s.Ron Whitfield wrote:Are they still being made there?
