Frank Frombach's individual finger slides

I put this here because this would surely have applications for pedal steel, as well as non-pedal. Frank Frombach is using a regular slide mounted on his middle left finger, and small finger slides to tap out and move notes with other fingers of both hands. The vid that show the slides is annoying, so it's last.

This last shows what he's using, they look a lot like the small slides that Will Ray uses. It'd still be pretty easy to cut up some pipe to make them - schedule 40 1/2" maybe? I've fooled around with something like this, but it's nice to see somebody taking it seriously.
